Meet Lisa

Lisa joined Palmetto Early Intervention Services in October 2013 as an Early Interventionist and Service Coordinator. Lisa served as a supervisor for many years, providing ongoing supervision and mentoring to staff while equipping them with the tools and support needed to grow as Early Interventionists. As the second staff member hired by Palmetto, Lisa has been a vital part of the agency's growth and success. Today, she continues serving children and families as a part-time Early Interventionist, bringing the same dedication and expertise to the families she supports.

Lisa was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She received a Bachelor's degree in Family and Child Development in August 1995 from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Lisa has been working with children and families in a multitude of ways for over 30 years. Her experiences include Child Daycare Eligibility Specialist, Preschool Teacher, Child Care Center Director, Adoptions Specialist and Adoption Supervisor with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, and more than a decade of experience as an Early Interventionist.

Lisa has a full, busy, and happy home that includes her husband, son, daughter, two stepdaughters, two dogs, a cat, and four fish! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, reading, and baking.
